Who Should I See?

Why?

Choosing the right clinician helps to ensure that everyone gets the treatment needed at the earliest opportunity.  A survey we did in our practice in 2016 shows that we can improve our service to all patients if we can do this.

Named GP:  In accordance with NHS England requirements, every patient is assigned to one of our GPs. Please contact Reception if you wish to change your named, accountable GP.  This does not affect your choice of GP for an appointment.

Got it - Who?

Below is a table of common conditions.  If the column on the left matches your condition, book with the corresponding clinician:

GP – General Practitioner

PP – Prescribing Practitioner

PN – Practice Nurse (all our Nurses can treat these conditions)

Specific PN – (Some of our Nurses can treat these conditions – ask reception)

HCA – Health Care Assistant
